Questions about Buddy
Is Buddy free to use?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no fee. MyShopperBuddy earns a commission if you buy through an Amazon or eBay link, and margin on partner-brand products it sells directly; the price you pay is the same.
Where does Buddy look for products?
The MyShopperBuddy catalog of partner-brand spices and pantry goods, plus Amazon (Associates) and eBay (Partner Network) listings where those programs are enabled. Each result says which source it came from.
Does Buddy make up products or prices?
No. Every recommendation links to a real listing, and prices are shown as last checked by us; the retailer's page is the source of truth at checkout. If Buddy cannot find something, it says so instead of guessing.
What is a good question to ask?
Say what you need, for whom or how many, and any budget — for example “biryani spices for 10 people” or “mild spices for kids’ pasta”. You can follow up in the same chat to narrow the options.
Does commission affect what Buddy recommends?
No. Commission rates are never an input to Buddy’s answers or to our popularity scores. See the editorial policy.
Is my chat stored?
Only if you tick the box to keep a short copy (question, answer, cited products) to improve Buddy. Payment and account data are never included. See the privacy policy.
Can Buddy add items to my cart?
Buddy shows a “View & add to cart” button for products sold by MyShopperBuddy. Amazon and eBay items are bought on that retailer’s site through the link.
