Organic Clove Whole from Sri Lanka | USDA Organic, Non-GMO

About this product

When you shop for certified organic clove whole, two details are worth checking first: the certification and the origin. This one lists both. It carries the USDA Organic and Non-GMO labels, and it comes from Sri Lanka. The buds are hand-picked and sold whole, so you decide when to infuse them and when to grind them.

On flavor, expect a sweet, strongly aromatic clove, and a little goes a long way. That makes whole buds a practical pantry spice. Stud an onion for stock, drop a few into pilaf or biryani, simmer them in mulled cider, or add them to pickling brines and spice cakes. The resealable stand-up kraft pouch comes in three sizes, 4 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz. The small size suits occasional baking. The larger ones suit regular cooks.
